Derryclare is situated right in the heart of Connemara on the road to Clifden. It is a stunning loacation. The refelection of the little island in the lake is so perfect that the picture can be viewed upside down and only for the clumps of grass in the foreground you would not know !!!  The fine detail in the vegetation and the beautiful tones of browns and greens, with a hint of magenta in the evening sky make this an outstanding image.
