While travelling south one day somewhere between Mitchelstown and Mallow, Co. Cork,  I couldn’t help but notice the round bales of straw in the fields. They struck me as resembling soldiers marching in formation as if on a battle field. The golden colour of the straw, the beautiful sky and the pattern of the tracks make for an interesting image.
