Ballymastoker beach is yet another stunning Donegal beach. It is on the Fanad peninsula facing across Lough Swilly to Inis Eoghain. As you drive south past the beach and up a cork screw road you come to a viewing spot. It was from there that I took this image. The weather was disturbed with heavy rain showers all day. This makes for great photography. Rainbows were forming everywhere. The way the sun lights the rain storms is amazing. The different tones and subtle colours in the sky and sea are beautifully rendered in the Hahnemuhle cotton fine art paper.
